The current leaders have established an early lead, while Sunrisers Hyderabad and Delhi Capitals, who will compete on Monday, are far behind. The Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium has had mixed results for the hosts. In a low-scoring match, Sunrisers Hyderabad defeated Punjab Kings by eight wickets, with Shikhar Dhawan's unbeaten 99 being overshadowed by Rahul Tripathi's unbeaten 74. Despite Tripathi's excellent performance, the Sunrisers' victories over Kolkata Knight Riders proved to be a fluke as they struggled against Lucknow, Mumbai, and Chennai Super Kings. After a loss to CSK, the domestic players of SRH gathered around Mahendra Singh Dhoni for selfies and advice, demonstrating their desire to learn from the master. Hopefully, something positive will emerge from the likes of Mayank Agarwal and Umran Malik. Agarwal has opened in five of the six matches so far with limited success. The Englishman, Harry Brook, has the freedom to play his game and scored the first century of the season for SRH against KKR. However, their inconsistent middle order and poor performance in the first six games have hurt their overall performance. Delhi Capitals have a similar record, with only one victory in six matches, but their win against Kolkata Knight Riders in the previous game should have boosted their confidence. David Warner, the captain of Delhi Capitals, is currently second in the run-getters list this season with 285 runs. However, their batting performance has been disappointing, and Warner said that each player must work on their individual technique to face bowlers who are bowling at 150 kmph.
