Indian footballer Sandesh Jhingan will return home from Croatia. Jhingan is leaving the club due to lack of opportunities in the Croatian Football League.

Jhingan plays for HNK Sibenik, Croatia's top division club. But the player missed opportunities due to injury. He returned to the team due to injury but failed to make the starting XI.
Jhingan signed a contract with a Croatian club on August 18, 2021. Although the contract is until August 2022, it has been announced that Jhingan will return home. Jhingan will return to ATK Mohan Bagan. Jhingan flew to Croatia with four years left on his contract with ATK.
Jhingan, India's highest paid defender, is also the first Indian to play in the Croatian Top Division League.
