Alba is the third player to be diagnosed with the disease in Barcelona recently. Earlier, Clemenf Lenglet and Danny Alves were diagnosed with the disease.
Alba was diagnosed with the disease shortly after Christmas. The Spanish player is staying at home in isolation as he has no symptoms. With this, Alba will miss the La Liga match against Real Mallorca on Sunday.
Barcelona are seventh in the points table after playing in poor form this season. The team has just 28 points from 18 games.
