Bangalore FC drew 0-0 with Chennai FC in the ISL on Friday. Unfortunately, Chennai failed to win the match despite leading the way in possession and chances. Bengaluru goalkeeper Gurpreet Singh Sandhu's excellent performance was also a stumbling block for Chennai. Chennai got their first chance in the sixth minute of the first half. Ismail Gonsalves' shot was blocked by Bengaluru goalkeeper Gurpreet. Gurpreet also caught a shot by Rahim Ali who got the ball on the rebound. Bangalore also got a chance in the 34th minute. But Sunil Chhetri's shot was blocked by Eli Sabia. Chennai got a chance in the 40th minute too. This time it was Manuel Lanzarote's shot that Gurpreet dived and saved. Though Chennai made good progress in the second half, Ismail Gonsalves' poor finish and Gurpreet's performance again blocked Chennai. Gurpreet saved Ismail's shot in the 61st minute. In the 75th minute, Bengaluru's Francisco Golsalas got the ball into the net but it was offside. Gurpreet came to the rescue of Bengaluru in the 77th and 78th minutes. In the 85th minute, Chennai's misfortune ended when Memo Maura's free kick hit the post and came back.
